settings explore differences among students within a variety of physical
activity settings. Students will learn about other people and explore how
others view participation in physical activity and exercise. Experience in
this area helps you to become sensitive to and appreciate the diversity of
others, thus, demonstrating responsible social behaviors that will enable
them to interact in a positive manner with diverse groups within the physical
