DOMAIN I Planning, Preparation and Assessment Teachers who excel design instruction that is coherent, include
appropriate assessment techniques, and adapt instruction to the diversity of students
who are in the class. The components of this domain define how a teacher
organizes the content that students are to learn such as:

DOMAIN 1: PLANNING, PREPARATION AND ASSESSMENT Description of Learning: My experience in planning, preparation and assessment has been mainly
from my secondary methods class at The main classes taken within this domain include:
Reflection: I feel that I can plan adequately in any subject that I am proficient
in the knowledge of the activity. I
feel that I can be taught much more effective preparation and assessment
strategies to become an even better teacher.
I feel that I have been taught many strategies to designing coherent
instruction including using such techniques as the VARK system,
interdisciplinary lessons, and adapted and modified lessons through
inclusion. Click

required classes and learning everything that I can in this domain. I want to incorporate my knowledge of
content and pedagogy in planning, preparation, and assessment. I plan to work hard at integrating
technology to help organize, manage and instruct with the best possible resources
available at the time. My plan is
to excel in the field in every aspect
of being an excellent health and physical education teacher. |
